17th May, 2014: On 30th April
2014, Asian Law Students Association (ALSA) unanimously voted for
and granted Asian Law Students Association - India (ALSA India) the
status of an official Observer Nation.
Owing to the status of observer nation, ALSA
India is proud to announce that Indian law students who opt to become
members of ALSA India, can now take part in the many forums,
competitions and other events which ALSA conducts in all of their member
nations.
ALSA India announces opportunity inviting applications to represent India at the
Annual ALSA Forum, hosted by ALSA Taiwan. Students currently enrolled in
a law course (Integrated, Graduate LL.B, LL.M, and Ph.D) from any
College/University recognized by Bar Council of India is eligible to apply.
Please note that as events of ALSA is open
ONLY for members of ALSA India, hence any student applying to represent
India to the Taiwan forum would be required to apply for membership to ALSA
India. Such membership shall be provisional in nature, and shall
automatically be made official once ALSA India has successfully
recruited its first National Council.
Eligibility Requirements To Represent India At The Taiwan Conference:-
1)
Member of ALSA India
2)
Passport with minimum 6 months
validity.
3)
Bonafide certificate from
college.
Total Registration Charges (per student): -
$500
: ALSA Forum 2014 delegate fee
$50 : Administrative charges
towards International Fund Transfer, Currency exchange Charge and loyalty fees
to ALSA International.
[Please note that
this charge is apart from your travel expenses and your personal expenses that
you may incur while staying in Taiwan]
