Asian Law Students' Association India: Call for Applications for National Board 2014-2015 [Apply by 21st September, 2014]



About Asian Law Students' Association


ALSA (Asian Law Students’ Association), an international, independent, non-political, non – profit making organization, is a newly rising student organization with great developmental potentiality, and its influence in Asian law students is ever-growing. The main aim of ALSA is to provide an international platform for the law students, with various sense of value about politics, religion, morality and ethics all over Asia, to  communicate their ideas about law and other fields of knowledge.


The network of ALSA is spread across various major nations across Asia and includes Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. ALSA has a memorandum of understanding with the European law students association ( ELSA) and the Australian law students association (ALSA).


About ALSA India

Manas Dowlani and Sourya Banerjee have officially received the Letter of Affirmation to start ALSA India National Chapter.With the core aims of promoting academic and cross cultural exchanges between India and Asian law students, ALSA India shall seek to integrate the activities of law students across the country. 

The chapter will aim at bringing terms with the international scenario and seeks to establish India as a leader among Asian countries in terms of legal education and exposure and increase the overall standard of students. Besides helping Indian students get international exposure with the help of Study Trips and Exchange Programs, ALSA India shall help foreign students get attached and placed in top Indian law firms.

Call for Applications

Asian Law Students Association India is inviting applications for its NATIONAL BOARD 

2014-2015. With a 12,000 member strong organization composed of students and alumni, 

Asian Law Students Association has fourteen countries as members, of which India is the 

youngest one.

Applications are invited for the following posts:

                                 1) VP: Academic Activities (1).
                                 2) VP: Public Relations (1).
                                 3) VP: Seminars & Events (1).
                                 4) Treasurer (1).
                                 5) Zonal Conveners (5)


You may apply by sending us the filled up form (available for download at the bottom). The last date to apply is 21st September 2014.


Shortlisted candidates will be subject to personal interviews. ALSA India reserves all rights of selection. The decision of the President shall be final and binding. 

ALSA India reserves all rights to disputes and shall have the last call on any such disputes.
