The International Review of Law (IRL) run from the College of Law at Qatar University is an open-access bilingual journal of law published by Bloomsbury press and open to scholars and practitioners from around the world. It is an ambitious project with the commitment of becoming a distinguished international review and a platform for legal scholarship on a range of contemporary subjects.

OVERVIEW
The Journal is published twice a year with five articles in each edition. Legal academics, practitioners, career professionals, members of the judiciary, and graduate law students are all highly welcomed to submit legal pieces. Prospective authors should first read the 'Style Guide for the International Review of Law' and the 'Manuscript Preparation Guidance', available in English and Arabic. Selected authors from each issue are subsequently invited to Qatar to conduct a guest lecture, as a guest of Qatar University. An abstract of published articles will be provided in Arabic and English and made available both online and in print, and selected submissions in each edition will be published in both languages in full.

TOPICS
We welcome articles discussing legal issues from different jurisdictions & disciplines around the world in any field of law. We are interested in receiving any type of paper such as comparative, interdisciplinary, practical, and theoretical of broad interest at a domestic or international level. Articles could be written in English or Arabic languages only. We are looking for a submission of full papers including an abstract. There is no word limit but we advise around 4,000 - 10,000 words. The Editorial team aim to give you a decision within 8-10 weeks of your submission.
