Since its inception in 2009, GNLU International Moot Court Competition (GIMC) has acquired popularity and respect in the national as well as international arena. The past four editions of GIMC have received due recognition from prestigious organizations such as the American Society of International Law (ASIL), the International Law Students Association (ILSA) and the Asian Society of International Law (ASIAN SIL).

GNLU International Moot Court Competition, 2013 is the 5th edition of GNLU’s flagship moot court competition and with this edition we aim to surpass our past success and establish ourselves as one of the best international trade law moot court competitions. GIMC ‘13 anticipates a greater international participation thereby promising to be diverse and intellectually stimulating affair.

The moot problem, together with distinguished judges presents a challenge to be overcome only by the team truly worthy of the GIMC ‘13 winners’ trophy. Sweet victory awaits the team which shows perspicacity, clarity of thought, thorough research and composure and presents it all with flair and eloquence.

GNLU’s new campus at Koba, Gandhinagar which is the venue for the competition welcomes the participants with the best of its resources and hospitality. For the duration of the competition, GNLU offers the participants, the use of its library and access to various online legal research organizations.

It is the constant endeavor of the GIMC team to provide the teams an amiable atmosphere paving way for healthy competition, building friendships and positive interactions among participants and legal luminaries. All this, in addition to cash prizes of approximately INR 60,000 up for grabs makes GIMC ‘13 one of the most sought after events in the international mooting calendar.
